		<description>Yeah, you can get by for a night with just a three pound pack but usually packs weigh about 5-15 pounds.  You're right, the tent is the most heavy item, that's why I sometimes will opt for a poncho instead of a tent if the weather permits.</description>

		<description>This sounds insane. Awesome, but insane. Have you done this? Can you really get by for the whole night with a 3-pound pack? Seriously? I mean, the tent alone is gonna weigh a few pounds, not to mention even the lightest weight foods.

That said, this sounds awesome. You get the best part of backpacking -- the immersion in nature, the knowledge that you can survive with only what you can carry on your back -- with the best parts of running. Interesting. Veddy interesting.</description>
