From GA 400 southbound take Abernathy exit. Turn right on Abernathy. Travel about two miles on Abernathy to Johnsons Ferry Rd. Turn right onto Johnson's Ferry. Go past the river and turn left onto Paper Mill road, the second intersection after the river. Go about two miles and turn left into the parking lot marked by the brown Chatahoochee River Recreation Area signs.

Review: This trail would be awesome if it weren't for the heavy traffic and the oblivious runners with headphones in their ears.

Review: Great trails. Smooth trails, rolling hills, for beginning trail runners. Technical trails, with steeper climbs, for more advanced runners. Sunday I ran 11 miles there and only did about 2 miles on the same trail (on the way back to my car). You could easily get in about 14-16 miles there without running the same trail twice. BTW - My run on Sunday showed 1,230 feet of total climb (and of course, the same amount of descent).

Review: Parts of this trail are used by mountain bikes and are very wide and easy to run, however significant portions are covered with palm-sized rocks and make it very risky for twisted ankles.
