Note: this trail is located in the Wayne National Forest and is open to bicycles. You must purchase a trail pass for a particular ride or get a season pass which is the easiest if you live nearby. Otherwise you have to know the date you are going to ride. That's a pain. However if you live close enough to the Wayne just get a season pass because there is a lot of riding.

For this post we'll start at Leith Run Campground off State Rt. 7 located between Newport and New Matamoros Ohio. However there is a parking area located on County Road 9 at the other end of Scenic River Trail. This trail can also be added to Archers Fork Loop, North Country Trail Connector and by using a few miles of dirt road it can also be linked with Ohio View Trail for as many miles as you want.
This is a great after work out and back trail and if you cross County Rd. 9 at the end there is another 3.5 miles out the connector to Archers Fork Loop. So an out and back then equals 14 + miles.

Great trail running spot.
