Eno River State Park

Running > Trail Running > North Carolina

Location: Durham, North Carolina
Length: 5 miles

Rank: #2 of 74 best running trails in North Carolina
Eno River State Park trail Directions: Multiple locations but my favorite is at the end of Cole Mill Road off I-85. Head north on Cole Mill and after about 5 miles the road will dead end at the park. Alternate location: on the left off Cole Mill road just after you cross the Eno River.

Trail Description: Alternately rooty and smooth, steep and flat, but always scenic. One of my favorite places to run year round. You'll rarely see many others on the far out trails and it feels like you're in the mountains. Great scenery as well.

Review: One of my all time favorite trail runs. Our school running club used to run here and I'd usually run at Eno River State Park at least once a week with my dog. Awesome place.
